Platycodon Root
Platycodon Root is the root of Platycodon grandifloras A. De Candolle (Campanulaceae).
Platycodon Root contains platycodin and other ingredients, and is said to have antitussive and expectorant effects. In Korea, the root is exposed to water to remove the acrid, and then it is eaten as a ingredient of kimchi.
